En este breve texto, Jerusa Pires Ferreira resume sus estudios en torno a tópicos como la oralidad, la memoria la expresión artÃstica y la cultura mediática plasmados en: O livro de São Cipriano e Matrizes Impressas do
Oral (1993), Armadilhas da Memória (1991 y 2004), entre otros tÃtulos. Especialista en la obra del medievalista suizo-canadiense Paul Zumthor, ha traducido al portugués de Brasil, sus obras fundamentales como Escritura e Nomadismo (2005). En esta entrega de Versión, hemos tomado la iniciativa de publicar en su lengua original dos colaboraciones de colegas brasileñas. La polÃtica editorial de la revista ha buscado persistentemente el diálogo, intercambio de ideas y materiales con comunidades académicas e intelectuales de América Latina. Esta es una muestra de nuestra voluntad dialógica, translingüÃstica [nota de los editores].
Abstract
In this brief text, Jerusa Pires Ferreira summarizes her research on topics such as orality, memory, the artistic expressions and media culture as we found them in her books: O livro de São Cipriano e Matrizes Impressas do Oral (1993), Armadilhas da Memória (1991 y 2004), among others. As a specialist in the work of Swiss-Canadian medievalist Paul Zumthor, she has translated his fundamental books in the Portuguese language of Brazil, such as Writing and Nomadism (2005). In this issue of our journal Version, we have taken the initiative to publish in its original language two collaborations of Brazilian colleagues. Our publishing policy has looked persistently to extend our dialogue, exchange of ideas and articles, with academic and intellectual communities of Latin America. This is only an example of our dialogic, trans-linguistics, will [note of the editors].
